Dorrians Hotel Ballyshannon Weddings

Dorrians Hotel Ballyshannon Weddings. Congratulations to Diane and Martin who where married in St Mary’s Church Cashelard on Saturday 8th September 2012, the famous Irish summer actually behaved itself for Diane and Martin and we actually seen the sun on occasion! and we even had the unexpected but greatly appreciated opportunity of going down to the Mall Quay for a few photos with a glorious sunset as the backdrop. The Mall Quay is a really special place for people from Ballyshannon and it always attracts a crowd in the summer months- people come to sit and watch the sunset over the sand-hills of Finner and others come to fish and there is an abundance of history in the area with the Island of Inis Saimer said to be the first place in Ireland to be settled. With the reception being in Dorrians Imperial Hotel it was only a short thirty second spin in the car to the quay for the sunset and boy was it worth it! The happy couple where joined by family and friends in the fabulous Dorrians Imperial Hotel Ballyshannon for a great reception and the Mucky Ducks kept the dance-floor filled and the craic going into the small hours of Sunday morning. We ended the photo session with a few photos in the dark with some sparklers and the banter with the boys was good as i tried to get them to get more adventurous and artistic with them- only time will tell how they came out! here are a few sneak peek photos from the day…enjoy….
