At the entrance to the Poisoned Glen and just past Dunlewy village in the shadow of Mount Errigal stand the burned ruins of a church. The walls are still complete. The white marble of which it was built was quarried just a few hundred yards away. The adjacent graveyard contains a single gravestone. At one time it was the local parish church. Few locals will go near the old church for it is said to be haunted!! I shook every bush and looked under every rock but could not find this ghost- maybe he feared the baldy man with the camera and took off!
