Villa Rose Hotel Weddings. Congratulations to  Elaine Kavanagh and David Rooney where married in Cashelard on Saturday 7th May 2011. Elaine and David where a great couple to work with, they where really relaxed and easy going and it made my job on the day so easy and enjoyable. The weather on the day was a mixed bag with some sunshine and also the dreaded showers! However the rain kept far enough away whenever we needed to take the photos outside so we cant complain one bit really. I started the day off as usual with a trip to the brides house to get photos of the dress and all the perfume, shoes and jewelery and anything else that makes a brides wedding day special.When i arrived the house was empty as the girls where still in hair and make-up in Bundoran but I didnt have too long to wait until they arrived full of nerves and excitment. The wedding ceremony took place in the lovely St. Mary’s church in Cashelard which is only two minutes from Elaine’s home- handy! After the ceremony we took some family pics in the church and we where joined by M.J. who is Elaine and Davids son- and what a cool little customer he is- so so cute in the photos. After the church we headed towards Ballyboffey and we went to the gardens of the Villa Rose Hotel weddings for some bridal photographs. What a stunning garden it is and it is only a few minutes from the hotel- handy again! The hotel was packed with guests when we arrived and they where in full party mode. It was a great night and i must say the villa rose hotel weddings really know how to put on a party, here are some of the photos from the day….enjoy….
