Colaiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon. The students of the leaving cert in colaiste cholmcille in Ballyshannon had a break from their studies recently and held a competition to see who would get a full makeover carried out by some of Ballyshannon’s local business’s. The students had to each nominate a girl and boy whom they felt deserved the makeover, the results where kept secret by the organising teacher Mrs. Catherine McKee. The two lucky students who came to the fore as most deserving where Niamh Foley and Lorcan Lynch. On Wednesday 25th April the two students met myself in Teresina Barrett’s Hair Design to get some before photos done and consult with Teresina about their new looks. On Friday morning -28th April-  Niamh and Lorcan arrived back to Teresina for the makeover, Teresina took care of the new hairstyles and then Niamh went upstairs to Caroline Loughlins “The Beauty Rooms Ballyshannon” (link here) for her makeup, the new outfits that Niamh and Lorcan wore where supplied by Slevin’s Department Store Ballyshannon (link here). I just had some time left to take a few after photos and let Niamh and Lorcan get back up to the school for the big reveal. All the students where buzzing with excitement to see who would walk through the door of room no.28 and the roof nearly lifted with the cheer that greeted Niamh and Lorcan- obviously two very popular students- after a short strut on the catwalk Niamh and Lorcan and the Teachers involved where presented with flowers as was myself, Teresina and Caroline.
