Wedding Photography Athlone: Michelle and Stephen Gallagher Wedding 24th May 2012: Glasson Golf Hotel Athlone
Wedding Photography Athlone
Wedding Photography Athlone. Congratulations to Michelle and Stephen on their big day in Athlone. This was my first visit to Athlone and my first go at Wedding Photography Athlone but it was a great day. Stephen- the groom- is my first cousin so there was a really relaxed feel to the day from the outset. Michelle was getting ready in her parents house in the centre of Athlone town so everything was handy to find and there was practically no travel time from the house to the church. The wedding ceremony took place in Our Lady Queen Of Peace Church in Athlone town, the sun was out all day and the heat was on, and man was it hot- i think the camera nearly melted at one point- wedding photography Athlone was like desert photography! It was a great day out for all and the Glasson Golf Hotel really was a special place for Wedding Photography Athlone and the grounds where a great place for photos with the beautiful golf course and the wooded area and also the lake and thank you to the hotel for the use of the golf buggies to make our way to and from the various photos. The meal was lovely and the band started up straight away and the dancing got off to a fly-er- unfortunately as much as i wanted to stay and enjoy the night to the full I had another wedding in Kinlough Co. Leitrim the next day so I had to say my goodbyes and hit the road for home to recharge the batteries and get the gear ready for the next morning here are some of the photos from Wedding Photography Athlone.... enjoy...

Congratulations to Michelle and Ryan who were married on the 28th of October 2017 in St Patrick’s Church Donegal town followed by a brilliant wedding reception in the 5 star Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel in Donegal for their families and friends. I started my day off with a trip down to Lough Eske Castle where Michelle and her bridesmaid Aoife were getting ready. Once you clear the tree lined road and the castle emerges from the woods it is obvious why Michelle and Ryan would choose to be married here- such an amazing gem of a location and venue. When I arrived in the room Michelle and Aoife were getting hair and makeup done by the very talented Louise Mc Donnell from LMD Salon. The girls were very relaxed and Michelle’s mum Kathleen and dad James were on hand to help keep the girls in great spirits.
