Villa Rose Hotel Ballybofey Wedding: Tanya & Adam
Villa Rose Hotel Ballybofey Wedding
Congratulations to Tanya Deery and Adam Regan who where married in the Villa Rose Hotel Ballybofey on Thursday 19th December 2013. Villa Rose Hotel Ballybofey Wedding photography at Christmas can be summed up in one word- MAGICAL. Tanya and Adam surely had a magical wedding- they had so many personal touches added to their wedding day that all combined to make it a really special magical day. Of course the Irish weather did not let us down and it gave a stark reminder to Tanya and Adam why they now live their lives in the sunny climes of Australia. The day itself threw us snow- hailstones- gale force winds- thunder and lightening- more hailstones and a dollop of slushy rain to top it all off but the worst of mother nature could not take the smiles off Tanya and Adam’s faces all day and their guests were more than happy to sip on the mulled wine and enjoy the heat in the Villa Rose. Both Tanya and Adam got ready in the hotel itself so it was great to get to cover the groom and groomsmen- Jason and Kalem- getting ready and then move a few doors down the hall to the bride and the bridesmaids- Elaine and Kara. The girls where in great spirits and not a nerve in sight- they had a good laugh at me getting out the window onto the flat roof of the hotel to get a shot of the snow and nearly ending up on my backside slipping around. The staff of the Villa Rose really made a spectacular job of decorating the hotel and it really is a fantastic location for a winter wedding, we had enough of a break in the hail to go over to the hotels garden with its thatched cottage for some outdoor photos but our plan to get a great shot in the Gap was scuppered by the blizzard like conditions. The entertainment for the evening was provided by the one and only Boxtie from Bundoran and lead singed Johnny Gallagher was in great form and kept the guests on the dance floor all evening. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tanya and Adam for allowing me to capture and be part of their magical day and would like to wish them the very best for the future and hopefully the can see fit to send some of the amazing Australian weather our way on their return to Melbourne, here are a few images from the day enjoy and if you want to leave Tanya and Adam a message you can do so at the bottom of this blog post……
