Mill Park Hotel Weddings Sinead And Raymond April 2014
Mill Park Hotel Weddings Sinead And Raymond April 2014. Congratulations to Sinead Rooney and Raymond Gilgunn who where married in the beautiful St Aidan’s Church in Kinlough Co. Leitrim on Friday 4th April 2014. It was a beautiful Spring day on Friday 4th April and for the first time this year it actually felt warm to be outside- a great bonus for a wedding after a long winter of wind and rain. ย Sinead and Raymond are living and working in New Zealand and made the long trip home to get married. Sinead and her bridesmaids Amanda and Donna – who are also her sisters got ready in Sinead’s home house in Aughavohill in Kinlough overlooking the beautiful Lough Melvin. ย The house was a flurry of activity with hair and make-up in full swing and Sinead’s flower girl Niamh kept me on my toes making sure I got some good shots of her in her beautiful dress. Raymond and his groomsmen Conor and Ben where already at the Church when I arrived to capture some photos of the guests arriving ย and they where in great form and very relaxed. After Fr. Keoghan had completed the ceremony we all headed to the bog- yes the BOG! I had wanted to shoot a few photos there for a while and i’m sure you will agree from the photos below it was well worth it- the colours and the moody Irish sky all came together to make a great set of photos. After the bog we went to the Mass rock outside Kinlough and we stopped on the side of the road to get a few photos with the lovely daffodils that really let you know it is a spring wedding- ย then made our way to Murvagh Beach for a few quick photos on top of the sand dunes before making our way to the Mill Park Hotel in Donegal Town for the reception. Mill Park Hotel Weddings are a favorite of mine as there is plenty of room for the guests to mingle and I have lots of opportunity to get some great candid photos of them as they enjoy the craic with each other, Sinead and Raymond had some great traditional music provided for the guests- Sinead and her family are all musical and Sinead’s brother was playing the Banjo in the hotel lobby . Sinead and Raymond had a great first dance and really pulled out all the stops with a great dance routine. By the time I was ready to go home the rain had set in but the guests where dancing away to the band so nobody noticed or cared about the rain. I would like to thank Sinead and Raymond for letting me capture their special day and wish them all the best in their future together. Below are some of the photos from the day and also a slideshow, if you would like to leave a comment please do so in the comment box below, thank you….enjoy……
