The Landmark Hotel Carrick On Shannon Weddings
The Landmark Hotel Carrick On Shannon Weddings. Congratulations to Lorraine Corrigan and Graham Connors who where married in St Mary’s Church Newtownforbes Co. Longford on the 15th March 2014. I have three simple words to describe Lorraine and Grahams wedding -Fun-Fun and Fun. From the moment I met with Lorraine and Graham to chat about their wedding I knew it was going to be enjoyable and a wedding I was really looking forward to covering. On the morning of the wedding I met Lorraine and her bridesmaids Domini, Aisling and Liane in Lorraine’s mums house where the hair and makeup where in full swing by the talented Loft Hair Studio and Amanda Mc Carthy. The girls really enjoyed the build up and where relaxed and totally nerve free. Also at the house covering the bridal prep was Caroline Clancy from Pink Lime Video Productions whose work you should really check out as it is really stunning -there is a link below to Caroline’s website. We left the girls and made the short journey to St Mary’s Church in Newtownforbes for the wedding ceremony. There we met up with Graham and his groomsmen Lyndon, Niall, James and Eric who where busy meeting and greeting the guests. When the ceremony was over and the family photos finished we left with the bridal party and crossed the road to the beautiful Newtownforbes castle for some photos. The location was stunning with beautiful gardens and a great castle- we made use of the just bloomed daffodils and had a great time exploring the magnificent setting. With our shots in the bag we made the 20 minute journey to the reception which was being held in the Landmark hotel in Carrick On Shannon.ย The Landmark Hotel Carrick On Shannon Weddings are great to be involved in as the hotel is right on the river Shannon and it has some fantastic views of the river which we made full use of on arrival. The other big event of the day was in full swing by the time we arrived at The Landmark Hotel – the six nations championship decider between Ireland and France. The great news is that Ireland won (only just) and the mood was even better in the reception – if that was possible! Lorraine and Graham had a game of strip poker in the family room that Lorraine won hands down and we had a great laugh getting the photos of the game. The theme of the reception was based around Graham’s love of film and it was lovely to see all the posters hung up from all the Hollywood classics. For the first dance Lorraine and Graham along with the bridal party continued the fun theme and had blow up guitars to play while entertaining the guests with their dance moves, it was a great day from start to finish and i would like to take this opportunity to thank Lorraine and Graham for allowing me to capture their special day and to wish them all the best for their future together, here are some of the other vendors who helped in making the day one to remember and links to their websites.
