Great Northern Hotel Wedding Photography | Sandra + Lee Collings

Great Northern Hotel Wedding Photography

Great Northern Hotel Wedding Photography– congratulations to Sandra Carroll and Lee Collings who where married in St Aidan’s church Kinlough in Co. Leitrim on the 29th May 2014 and then moved on to Bundoran for some Great Northern Hotel Wedding Photography . I started my day by making the short hop from my home in Kinlough to Sandra’s mum and dad’s house on the other side of the village. When I arrived the hair and make up was in full swing with the very talented Teresa Mc Gloin on hand to make everyone look their beautiful best- you can see more of Theresa’s work and book her for your own wedding make-up here. The mood in the house was very relaxed and everyone was enjoying the build up to the days big event. After a few photos with Sandra and her bridesmaids Sonia and Kaci I made my way the few hundred meters to the beautiful St Aidan’s Church where I met up with Lee and his groomsmen Craig and Patrick. The guests where all making their way inside and awaiting the arrival of Sandra and the girls. When the ceremony was over we all made our way to the bog about a mile outside Kinlough and got some great photos among the wild flowers and the earthy colours of the heather’s. From there we went out to the old mass rock for some bridal party photos among the tress and bluebells and it was a fantastic place even though the midges where out in full force and very hungry! The last leg of our journey took us to the wonderful west end pool in Bundoran which is right on the shore of Donegal bay. We got some fantastic wedding photos there before we left to head to the hotel for the reception. Great Northern Hotel Wedding Photography is a real pleasure because the staff are so friendly and will do whatever it takes to make the day run smooth and for everyone to enjoy themselves to the max and also for its location which is really second to none in Ireland. At sunset we went out to the cliff tops at Rougey and got some amazing photos with a beautiful sun setting on Donegal bay as our backdrop- any wedding photographers dream location. Sandra and Lee are both highly talented musicians and they took to the stage with their friends and really had the whole reception on the dance-floor for the evening. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Sandra and Lee the very best for their future together and hope you enjoy the photos below from their wedding day…….

Absolutely stunning photos, with unique and beautiful touches. THe colour in the outdoor shots of the sky are so dramatic and romantic. The best wedding photos I have seen.
