Harveys Point Hotel Wedding Caoimhe + Timmy
Congratulations to Caoimhe and Timmy who where married in St. Patricks Church Ballyshannon on Saturday 5th July 2014. A brilliant day out – that is what sums up Caoimhe and Timmy’s wedding in Harveys Point Hotel. It really was a fantastic wedding from start to finish. I started my day in the beautiful setting of Creevy Pier where Caoimhe and her bridesmaids Clare, Katie, Ruth and Donna where in the middle of getting themselves beautified by wedding make up artist Dee Mc Caffrey. The girls where in high spirits and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the house along with a few glasses of champagne. After we got some beautiful bridal portraits with Caoimhe myself and Sinead made our way to St Patricks Church in Ballyshannon for the ceremony. On Our arrival we met with Timmy and his groomsmen Micky, Patsy, Chris and Connor. I have know Timmy and his family all my life as they are neighbors from just across the road in the Bull ring in Cluain Barron. Timmy and his family are all great fishermen and we spent many a summer on the Erne estuary fishing for salmon- ah the craic that was had. On Videography duty was the great Tony Keown from Garrison who is always a pleasure to work with on a wedding. The guests arrived at the church in good time and everyone chatted and laughed until the brides arrival. The bridal cars where expertly handled by Michael “sticky” Ward and Pat Faherty so there was no chance of Caoimhe and the girls being late for the kick off. After the ceremony we made our way to the reception in the beautiful Harveys Point Hotel. A Harveys Point Hotel Wedding is always special and the hotel and staff never fail to impress. On our way into the hotel we stopped for some stunning wedding photos on the shore of lough Eske. The sky was perfect with lots of blue sky and puffy white clouds- any wedding photographers dream. On arrival at the hotel Caoimhe and Timmy made their way to the patio area beside the bar to join their guests for some banter and a well earned drink to cool down in the warm summer sun. Myself and Sinead made our way to the ballroom to get the shots of the tables and decor and of course of the beautiful wedding cake that was made by wedding cake supremo Pauline Faherty. Pauline had made the most amazing wedding cake and even made the cake so personal to Timmy by having him at his boat fishing rod in hand. The speeches where a great bit of craic with Micky stealing the show with his tales of ย big feeds and his use of props from Abrakebabra. The music on the night was provided by Bundoran super-group The Trutones – you can visit Mark ,Paul and Michael on their Facebook page here. After some shots with the sparklers myself and Sinead packed up and made our way home while the guests where packing the dancefloor for what im sure was a long night of dancing. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Caoimhe and Timmy the very best for their future together, here are some photos from their great Harveys Point Hotel Wedding….. enjoy…….
