The Blue Haven Hotel Kilcar Wedding Anne and David White
The Blue Haven Hotel Kilcar Wedding Anne and David White:
Congratulations to Anne Kennedy and David White who where married on the 1st August 2014 in Killymard Church Donegal town followed by a great reception in the picturesque setting of the Blue Haven Hotel just outside Kilcar. I started off the day with the bridal preparation photos in Anne’s mum’s house in Killymard, the house was buzzing with excitement with the bridesmaids Teresa, Katie, Rosy and the camera confident flower-girl Chloe all getting the hair and makeup sorted. The girls where enjoying a few glasses of champagne and it was great to see no nerves at all from any of them. I made my way to the church in Killymard where i met with groom David and his groomsmen Mark, James and Matthew. The boys where busy greeting all the guests as they arrived for the ceremony which was due to kick off at 1:30pm. The weather on the day was a bit mixed with a few heavy showers in the morning but it cleared up perfectly in the afternoon and by the time we where getting the bridal party portraits done the sun was splitting the rocks. When the ceremony was over we had planned to go to Ardara for some photos at Assaranca waterfall and the spectacular Glengesh pass but due to a bit of an overrun on the time we had to change the plan and go a more direct route to the hotel. On the way we stopped at the beach in Fintra and it was such a beautiful location for wedding photos. We walked across the beach to the waters edge and spent some time getting beautiful bridal portraits. After we got back in the cars and made the short spin from Fintra to the wedding reception which was taking place in the beautiful setting of The Blue Haven Hotel just outside Kilcar. The Blue Haven Hotel has the most amazing views across Donegal Bay and you can see St John’s Lighthouse, Rossnowlagh, Bundoran, Mullaghmore and a splendid view of Benbulben mountain and the rest of the Dartry Mountains. The ballroom in the hotel looked fabulous and the guests had a great evening of music beer and craic. We finished up our wedding day photography by doing some sparkler and light-painting shots and left Anne and David with their guests who where giving it loads on the dance-floor. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Anne and David the very best for their future together, below are some of the vendors who helped Anne and David make their day so special,
