Great Northern Hotel Bundoran Autumn Wedding
Great Northern Hotel Bundoran Autumn Wedding. Congratulations to Caroline Curneen and James Mc Gowan who where married on the 18th October 2014 in a beautiful wedding ceremony in St. Aiden’s Church in Kinlough followed by a brilliant wedding reception for family and friends in the stunning four star Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran. Nothing beats a good local wedding and I could not get more local than this with the wedding ceremony in Kinlough and the wedding reception in The Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran. I started my day off by crossing the road- yes crossing the road to Caroline’s home house where she was getting ready along with her sisters and bridesmaids Alison and Breda. On arrival Marcella Mc Govern was busy applying the finishing touches to the girls makeup and everyone was nice and relaxed and enjoying a few sips of champagne. After we had got some bridal portraits with Caroline we made our way up the road to the church where we met with James and his groomsmen Mark and Damien who where all busy greeting the guests arriving at the church, Caroline and James’ son Daniel was on page boy duty and even though he had the chicken pox ย on the day he did his job well. Tony Keown from Garrison was on hand to shoot the video for the day and it is always great to work with someone as experienced as Tony as he knows weddings inside out and is never in my shots and hopefully Tony can say the same for me! After the wedding ceremony we made our way over to Lough Melvin for a few bridal party photos before making our way to Ballyshannon where James’ mum is a patient in the Sheil Hospital and got some great photos of James and his mum who was so excited to see himself and Caroline. From there we made our way to the wedding reception which was held in the beautiful Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran. Karen and her team had the hotel looking fabulous and after a great meal the guests where treated to some Irish dancing before one of the top wedding bands in the country- Keltic Kaos- took to the stage to make sure the party was lively and the dance-floor full. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Caroline and James all the best for their future together and below are some of the other wedding vendors who all helped Caroline and James make their day so special.
