Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Wedding | Jacqueline + Thomas
Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Wedding
Congratulations to Jacqueline Caraway and Thomas Brennan who where married in Maugherow Church on Friday 5th December 2014 followed by a wonderful Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Wedding reception for their family and friends.
The 5th of December as you would imagine had a really cold and crisp feel to it but having said that it also was dry which is a great plus for any wedding day. I started my day of by meeting up with Jacqueline and her bridesmaids Carina, Andrea and Niamh who where all getting ready in Jacqueline’s mums house in the beautiful town-land of Maugherow. On our arrival Ann from Ann Young Beauty was busy getting the girls looking their best for the day ahead and Salon 2 in Sligo had already done a fantastic job with the up-styles. After we had done a few bridal portraits with Jacqueline we made the short journey across the headland to Maugherow Church where we met Thomas and his groomsmen Richard, Patrick and Columba who where all busy meeting and greeting the arriving guests.
After the wedding ceremony myself and Sinead along with the bridal party made the quick trip down to Raughley pier for some wedding photos. There was a stiff breeze coming in from Sligo bay and the wind chill was really noticeable- however nobody complained and we worked very quickly to get our shots and get everyone back into the cars as speedily as possible. The view from Raughley pier is absolutely stunning- you have the majestic Benbulben as your background and the full expanse of Sligo bay can be seen from atop the pier wall.
When everyone was safely back in the warm environs of the cars we made our way to fun part of the day which was a Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Wedding reception. The Radisson Blu Sligo hotel is situated in the beautiful area of Rosses Point in Sligo and it is a really beautiful place to have a wedding reception. The ballroom was dressed to look its absolute best and every guest was blown away with the attention to detail. After the meal and just befor the band Nightfever took over for the evenings entertainment we managed to brave the cold air one last time and go out and get some sparkler shots in the hotel grounds and we had a beautiful moon make an appaerance for the backdrop to the photos.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jacqueline and Thomas for being such a great couple to work with and would like to wish them the very best for their future together, below are some photos from Jacqueline and Thomas’s Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo Wedding and also some of the other vendors who helped make the wedding day so special.
