Hilton Park House Wedding Naomi + Darren
Hilton Park House Wedding
Congratulations to Naomi and Darren on their beautiful Hilton Park House Wedding on the 6th of September 2015. Well if Carlsberg did wedding venues then Im pretty sure they would come up with Hilton Park house near Clones on the Monaghan Fermanagh border. Hilton Park was built in 1734 and it is set in 400 acres of heritage woodlands with beautiful gardens and lakes. I could easily have spent the entire day just wandering through the magnificent house with its high ceiling rooms photographing all the details and wonders on show. However on this occasion the house was playing second fiddle to the main attraction of Naomi and Darrens wedding. I had met with Naomi and Darren a few weeks before the wedding in Hilton Park to have a look around and so on the morning of the wedding I knew exactly where I wanted to go and what I wanted to shoot. On arrival I made my way to Naomi and bridesmaid Claire who were busy getting their hair done with Jason from Gloss Hair Salon in Ballyshannon. We got some great photos of Naomi’s beautiful wedding dress hanging up on the huge four poster bed and some lovely photos of Naomi with her mum and dad in the beautiful room. As Darren was only across the hall getting ready we got a few shots with himself and best man Richard getting suited and booted – Richard was also busy putting some last minute finishing touches to his speech and I think I may have added to his stress by photographing his attempts to finish the speech! If the details of the house where cool then Darren brought the wedding details to a whole new level – if you notice the figures surrounding the wedding cake you will see that each one is handmade (by Darren) and they are of each of the guests! I thought that was such a great idea and it was so easy to pick out who each figure was the level of detail and craftsmanship was that high.
The wedding ceremony was in a beautiful room with amazing furniture and period features and the music and singing was provided by Colin Fahy who really blew me away- he sang an Ed Sheerin song and I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn’t being belted out on a CD player. After the ceremony everyone made their way out to the lawn for some family photos before myself and Sinead went for a walk with Naomi and Darren around the amazing gardens for some stunning wedding photos. The gardens were in pristine condition and the flowers were all in full bloom and it really was easy to find beautiful places to take the photos. When we had made our photo walk loop and landed back to the guests on the lawn we got some candid photos of everyone enjoying a few sociable drinks in the summer heat before everyone made their way inside to be seated for the meal. It really was a fantastic wedding in a fantastic location and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Naomi and Darren for allowing me to be part of their wedding day and I would like to wish them the very best of everything for their future, below are some of the wedding photos from their Hilton Park House Wedding….enjoy……
