Solis Lough Eske Castle Weddings Michelle + Ryan

Congratulations to Michelle and Ryan who were married on the 28th of October 2017 in St Patrick’s Church Donegal town followed by a brilliant wedding reception in the 5 star Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel in Donegal for their families and friends. I started my day off with a trip down to Lough Eske Castle where Michelle and her bridesmaid Aoife were getting ready. Once you clear the tree lined road and the castle emerges from the woods it is obvious why Michelle and Ryan would choose to be married here- such an amazing gem of a location and venue. When I arrived in the room Michelle and Aoife were getting hair and makeup done by the very talented Louise Mc Donnell from LMD Salon. The girls were very relaxed and Michelle’s mum Kathleen and dad James were on hand to help keep the girls in great spirits.

After Louise had finished we had time for some portraits of Michelle in her stunning wedding dress which was by Watters and got from Marie Me Bridal in Ranaldstown. From the Castle it is only a five minute drive to St Patrick’s Church in the heart of Donegal Town. On arrival at the Church I met with Ryan and his best man and brother Jonathan. The boys were busy meeting and greeting the arriving guests who were making it quickly into the church as the forecast rain had arrived. Thankfully the rain stopped just in time for Michelle’s arrival and she looked absolutely amazing with her stunning bouquet from Ballybofey Florist. The church music and singing was performed by Davey from Wedding Music Belfast and he did a fantastic job and was rightly praised by Fr. Peoples at the end of the ceremony.

When the family photos were finished after the ceremony we made our way back to the wedding reception in Lough Eske Castle with two quick stops along the way for some bridal party photos. The colours in nature at this time of year are beautiful and when you add in a stunning bridal party you have a recipe for  wedding photography success. Back at the Castle wedding planned Stephen Bell was on hand to welcome Michelle and Ryan with two well deserved glasses of champagne and he led them in to meet their guests who were enjoying the luxury of the castle interior.

The music entertainment for the evening was provided by Whinbush and Keltic Kaos and they had the dancefloor filled all evening.
