Lough Erne Resort Enniskillen Wedding

Congratulations to Niamh and Ciaran who had their Lough Erne Resort Enniskillen Wedding on the 26th of April 2019 with their beautiful wedding ceremony held in St Joseph’s Chapel The Rock Ballyshannon followed by a fantastic wedding reception for their families and friends in the stunning Lough Erne Resort hotel near Enniskillen in Co. Fermanagh.

The morning of the 26th of April saw me make a quick trip to the Sandhouse Hotel in Rossnowlagh to meet up with Ciaran who was getting ready in the hotel having stayed there the night before. Ciaran was in a great room with views across the beach but i’m sure with the pre wedding nerves Ciaran was not as interested in the view as I was. After a few photos with Ciaran I made the short drive into Ballyshannon to Niamh’s home up the Rock where she was busy getting hair and make up done along with her bridesmaids Caoimhe, Lorraine, Olivia, junior bridesmaid Jane and Flower girl Éabha . Sinead from Beauty Boutique Sinead Corrigan Crowell  was making sure the girls were looking their best and it is so important to have a professional  make up artist that  knows what works best for photography and thankfully Sinead is the best in the business and her work really stands out – you can follow Sinead on her Facebook page here.

Niamh was so relaxed and showed no outward signs of nerves at all and really enjoyed the morning build up. After the girls were dressed we got some quick photos before I made the 100 meter drive to St Joseph’s church for the wedding ceremony. On my arrival I got some shots with Ciaran and his groomsmen Mark, Damien, Joseph, Liam and usher Brian who were busy meeting arriving guests and handing out mass booklets. After the wedding ceremony we got some family photos done before jumping in the cars and making our way to the wedding reception in the fabulous Lough Erne Resort.

The original plan was to get into the golf buggies on arrival and head over to the golf course and jetty for some bridal party photos but unfortunately the rain had set in by the time we arrived so the plans had to change- the great thing about a Lough Erne Resort Enniskillen Wedding is the hotel has plenty of areas for photos that keep you sheltered from the elements so we worked quickly and got our photos and then joined the arriving guests for the champagne reception before the call for dinner.

After the meal as the band were setting up the weather cleared for a few minutes around sunset and we took full advantage of the opportunity to get some beautiful photos with Niamh and Ciaran with Lough Erne in the background. At the break in the music there was a real treat for the guests as there was a fantastic display of fireworks and although the rain was belting down again I managed to convince Niamh and Ciaran to shelter under an umbrella and enjoy the display while I got some cracking photos.
